Hanafi Muslim is one of the dominant of four religious Sunni Islamic schools of jurisprudence. Hanafi Muslims are the follower oneness God, but all the communities are varying about its wedding custom and ritual. However, Sunni and Shia are the two biggest parts of Islam. Both have some differences about their cultural and religious beliefs in all the way. Hanafi Muslim is the major community of Sunni Islam. Hanafi wedding varies depending on the bride and groom family background and culture as they Arab Muslims or South Asian Muslim thus, all these have some differences about their wedding arrangements. Marriage is a lifelong commitment together by seeking the blessing of the elders and mainly permission of the God. The wedding ceremony takes place after following religious practices in Hanafi Muslims. It is highly valued in all holy ceremonial practices. The ceremonial custom and rituals comprise dancing, functions, delicious dishes and sweets that makes the wedding more enjoyable. The actual Hanafi wedding is a single day affair, but custom and religious beliefs take long time process as the matrimonial ceremony occasion. A preferred and auspicious day is chosen and publicly announced by Qazi and the elders. Thus, the marriage contract is publicly signed not secretly. Asar worship is performed in the mosque. The Nikah ceremony is mainly performed between the two Muslim witnesses by Qazi. In Sunnat Hanafi Muslim the matrimonial ceremony is performed in the Masjid where the bride is presented by her father and brother. The Hanafi bride expresses her will between the two Muslim witnesses and Qazi. The witnesses must not be from the bride and groom’s side, they must be free from pressurize conditions. A marriage will not be valid without the witnesses.
